NAIROBI Cheap Nike Air Max 93 , Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- South African Paul Treu has promised to send Kenya to the top of the rugby sevens game as he formally took charge of the team on Tuesday.


During his official unveiling in Nairobi, Treu who arrived on Monday revealed he took charge of Kenya due to the allure of moulding a talented set of players to a world beating side having spent eight years coaching his home nation.


Top of his objectives is to qualify and medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and win a HSBC World Series tournament for the first time in the team' s history.


""High performance is very challenging, to move from a semi final to final and once you are in the final, starting to win them,"" said Treu.


""We only need to go there once Nike Air Max 93 Ireland , we only need to win one tournament and it's a different kind of belief, a different kind of mindset that will open up for the players,"" said the coach.


""We want to make sure we do everything within our power that we can equip the players to make sure they have the composure, mental tenacity and perseverance to go out there and hopefully, put the big teams away Nike Air Max 180 Ireland ,"" Treu underscored during his formal presentation as the new Kenya rugby sevens rugby coach.


Besides coaching the side, he has also been appointed the Performance Director of the game with the extended mandate of establishing the necessary structures that will ensure Kenya produces a steady stream of top class players as well as empowering local coaches.


""The first target is to qualify for the Olympics and be a medal contender and secondly, we would like to empower coaches to ensure Kenya has a pool to select from when the next coach needs to be appointed,"" he said.


""We would like to make this team as competitive as possible. Since 2001 when they started to participate in the (HSBC) series, they have never won a tournament. This is something players aspire to Cheap Nike Air Max 180 , this is a target they have put for themselves and let's see what they can achieve as a team,"" he explained.


Despite the huge expectations placed on his shoulders by a demanding nation, the South African called for patience as his expanded technical team sets about their task.


""There are a lot of expectations that by us coming here, we are going to start winning tournaments and I need to ask people to be more patient as we find our feet,"" he added.


""Success is going to come but unfortunately it will come over time since every successful team is build over time. We will try and grow the players as fast as possible but in the short term Nike Air Max 95 Ireland , our aim is to win a tournament and we will work on that every day of our training,"" Treu said.
